Welcome to the 9th Annual Kevin Sneddon Hockey School (KSHS). My staff and I are thrilled that we are able to provide a first class hockey development program for players both in and out of state. We've established a program for three important age groups to assist in the overall skill development of boys and girls. We will maintain a great player/coach ratio by limiting enrollment and increasing coaches when necessary.

Our camp emphasizes the importance of skating, agility, coordination, puck skills, and most importantly, teamwork and fun! The addition of off-ice programming also emphasizes these areas. Agility courses, games, races, and competitions all work toward the development of a complete athlete.

We are pleased to announce the creation of our new ELITE CAMP for players who want to prepare for the upcoming hockey season. There will be a one hour high tempo practice focusing on skills, pace, and competition. Following the ice session, there will be a strength and conditioning session with UVM’s Athletic Performance Coach, Justin Smith. Information about nutrition, pre and post-game routines, and in-season workout programs will be distributed to each player.

The dates for this year’s camp are August 13-16, 2018 (4 days). The camp will run from 8am-12noon for Program 1 (Age 5-8), 8:30am-12:30pm for Program 2 (Age 9-12), and our ELITE CAMP will run from 2:00pm-4:00pm (Age 13-16). This is part of the summer where most camps have ended and parents look for opportunities for their kids before school starts.

Our mission is to create a fun experience for the kids while teaching them important skills needed to be a successful hockey player. So kids, be ready to work hard and laugh a lot!

Why wouldn't you want your son or daughter to learn from professional coaches and college hockey players at the most affordable rates available?

We welcome the chance to share our knowledge and expertise with players with all skills and abilities.

Here's what some of our parents had to say about their experience with the Kevin Sneddon Hockey School:

"Never have I had to dry out my son's hockey gear the way I have after 1 1/2hrs of you and your co-coaches putting him through his paces.....he is just drenched and tired...but it's like a badge of honor...he LOVES it...he thinks camp is "AWESOME". It's worth the drive from Middlebury each day. I am impressed that you have about a 2:1 kid/adult ratio, the extra adult interaction really keeps the kids working hard, having fun and pumped up!"

Jennifer Murdoch, Middlebury VT (Age 9-12 program)

"My 8 year old son has participated in the Kevin Sneddon Hockey School for the last few years. He truly enjoys his time on the ice at Gutterson and looks forward to it each summer. He has learned more about the game, how to skate with power and best of all he gets to hang out with the UVM varsity hockey players and coaches. Just to skate at the Gutt and get time and instruction from a Division 1 college coaching staff and the guys he has watched play during the season is a real thrill. The camper to coach ratio is excellent thus the kids get personal attention. As a coach of youth hockey, I encourage the players on our team to sign up for KSHS."

Pete Van Vranken, South Burlington VT (Age 5-8 program)

"My son has been at this camp for 4 years now and has loved it! In fact, he did both the morning session and the evening session last year! If you want your child to have a great learning experience while having fun with hockey, this is a great option."

Chris McCabe, South Burlington
