Welcome to the fifth annual Kevin Sneddon Hockey School (KSHS). My staff and I are thrilled that we are able to provide a first class hockey development program for players from all over the country. We've established a program for two important age groups to assist in the overall skill development of boys and girls. We will maintain a great player/coach ratio by limiting enrollment and increasing coaches when necessary, we've kept the prices as low as possible, and we've kept the evening session for those parents who couldn't make the morning programs.

We felt that last year's program which combined power skating and the skills session went very well. As coaches, we feel that developing young player's skating ability is essential to overall development. We've maintained the same amount of ice time which allows us to do several types of development exercises with them.

In developing this hockey school, our two priorities were: create a hockey specific opportunity for boys and girls from all areas of the US, and also be considerate of today's economy. We've accomplished both priorities by providing affordable options for families.

Why wouldn't you want your son or daughter to learn from professional coaches and college hockey players at the most affordable rates available?

We welcome the chance to share our knowledge and expertise with players with all skills and abilities.

Here's what some of our parents had to say about their experience with the Kevin Sneddon Hockey School:

"Never have I had to dry out my son's hockey gear the way I have after 1 1/2hrs of you and your co-coaches putting him through his paces.....he is just drenched and tired...but it's like a badge of honor...he LOVES it...he thinks camp is "AWESOME". It's worth the drive from Middlebury each day. I am impressed that you have about a 2:1 kid/adult ratio, the extra adult interaction really keeps the kids working hard, having fun and pumped up!"

Jennifer Murdoch, Middlebury VT (Age 9-12 program)

"My 8 year old son has participated in the Kevin Sneddon Hockey School for the last few years. He truly enjoys his time on the ice at Gutterson and looks forward to it each summer. He has learned more about the game, how to skate with power and best of all he gets to hang out with the UVM varsity hockey players and coaches. Just to skate at the Gutt and get time and instruction from a Division 1 college coaching staff and the guys he has watched play during the season is a real thrill. The camper to coach ratio is excellent thus the kids get personal attention. As a coach of youth hockey, I encourage the players on our team to sign up for KSHS."

"Being very interested and instrumental in my grandson's Hunter (6) hockey I am always being involved in his growth in the sport! When Hunter turned 3 I remember him meeting Kevin and telling Kevin he was going to be a football player; but at 3 and 1/2 his mind and heart went to hockey and started playing at 4,. and lives for it! To help Hunter's growth in the sport I am always looking for clinics and schools Hunter may be enrolled in. Knowing Kevin as a person, watching him relate to Hunter that day and the times Kevin helped out in the CSB (Chittenden South Burlington) youth hockey program, I saw a man who not only loved the sport of hockey but was thrilled and loved to share knowledge with the children. Last season when Hunter was 5 we enrolled him into the Kevin Sneddon Hockey School, and that was one or best decisions we could make! The school started at 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday and lasted for an hour and a half. Kevin and his staff which are coaches and past and present UVM Hockey Players, who have the skills and hockey knowledge to train the children! But the moist important and best detail is their love to work with children! They all like to demonstrate the drills they are asking of the future stars! I felt it was they love to show off the skills they have learned over the years! So whether it is the Superman dive,Power Skating, Puck handling, Passing, Slap Shots they give 100% to the youngsters! And the best part these young stars are learning with the biggest and brightest smile on their faces! You can't go wrong with the KSHS as a matter of fact Hunter will be enrolling again this year! Hope to see all you parents there! "
